As of 0700Z today, the Jetlink callsign and BTA operating certificate are no more.

With the SOC finally coming together for the ASA/ExpressJet merger... the new company name is ExpressJet, but we are keeping the ASQ Certificate and the "Acey" callsign.

The last “Jetlink” flight was BTA 6102 from DEN to IAH, arriving in IAH at 0042 local time Friday morning.

I was really... really really really hoping that the new call sign would be "SureJet!" :)

Looks like things are moving faster than the 9E/XJ/9L merger.

Management just recently pushed back the "fence" date for transfering the Mesaba jets to Pinnacle until sometime in January.

You guys can bid between aircraft, where we can't. Hell it might be YEARS before I can bid DTW CRJ.

Uh...

You'll probably be at delta bidding dc9 dtw before you can bid crj dtw.

Yeah.

The Atlantic Southeast (legacy? lol) side is a sinking ship. Better believe. (Okay, okay...only Marginal :sarcasm:)

Been hearing it all morning... "jetlin uhhhhh acey...."

Somehow, I'm not surprised...

This kind of thing happens. I wonder what the Britt and Rocky Mountain guys thought back when they were smushed all together.

I wondered why I heard a bunch of Acey's descending into/climbing out of the CLE area yesterday.

Sad indeed. Jetlink was cooler.
