I'd reason to be it's too expensive, and fuel sloshing isn't really an issue when you're striaght and level. Just a WAG though.

It's in the trunk tank of the beatchjet, but I think that's basically because Beech had to come up with some way to fit 10 gallons of poop in a five gallon tank when they tried to turn the Diamond in to a plane with a reasonable range...ie. A "compromise" rather than a "feature".

I suppose every tragedy should be erased from media including 9/11, Islamic torture, etc shown on youtube? But its not. It's not a tough call, its our 1st amendment right but that's a different time and place. I hate when elitist websites dictate to me what I can or cannot view, all copyrighted material aside.

After the first time you see a friend of yours go straight in right before your own eyes, seeing videos of airplane crashes in the same context makes you sick to your stomach.
After the second time... Well, it doesn't get any better.
Reno, The T-28, Brian Jensen in The Beast, Todd Green the wing walker... All these videos were on the news. Sure they serve a purpose for analyzing the accident. But the only REAL reason the media shows the videos is for entertainment shock value. I just think that irresponsible and disrespectful to the families. Not 30 minutes after the Reno accident the video was up on YouTube....

Wonder if anyone's thinking of using an adjustable horizontal stab. If you re-trim the stab (with gear drive) for high speeds you no longer need to dial in so much trim, right? This would reduce drag (more speed) and eliminate or greatly reduce the consequences of broken trim tabs. Counting the Voodoo incident, it's now happened twice.

Bizzarely (if you know how poor a pilot I really am and the sorts with whom I consort), I've never known anyone very well who's biffed it. So I defer to those who know how that feels. That said, if I ever dig a big smoking hole in the ground, feel free to broadcast it far and wide. From my perspective, the worst thing that could possibly happen is that someone learns something (always dangerous). I do require that you make Flapper Girl give a tearful rendition of "you were the best thing that ever happened to me" over my smoking grave, and that Waco swear never to vote for "the lesser of two weavils" again. Oh, and Dough must lead the polity in a mass-reading of "High Flight" whilst spreading rose petals. Is that too much to ask?

I use you tube to find backing tracks for practicing scales and guitar solos. Even those videos have horrible comments. The interwebz gives people a strange outlet to blurt out whatever comes to mind. Normally I'm certain these people may be thinking that something horrible but they would never say it "in public".
