Eagle Interview

To all that have been hired, i want to know how many of you are saints? Meaning never had traffic violation or Suspended license in past? Perfect, clean slate record...

TopGunn

I have an interview in two weeks and fit your criteria minus one bust on the private checkride. Will let you know how it goes!

I forgot to include :sarcasm: What do you control?

Just me, mostly. *looks down front of pants* Well, most of the time. Sort of. ;)

Working on it...one week down 6 more to go. :-)

Limitations, profiles, systems. Cooperate and graduate. Then come grease the gears of the machine with the rest of us. I think Crew Schedulers are are the verge of spontaneous strokes. I've never seen so many system wide "Critical Coverage" days. I hear similar from crusty old left seaters.

Question on Eagle's 121 duty hours

I just want to verify duty hour regulations are

1000 per year
100 per calendar month
30 in 7 days
8 in 24 hours

I may just be delivering news that everyone but myself already knew, but it would seem they're running the captain review board every Friday now as opposed to every other Friday. Got the call that I will be in tomorrow's board.

How long after submitting the application you got the call for the interview?

I applied via AirlineApps quite a few months before I got the call. I finally got a call after one of my buddies (FO in MIA) threw in a rec for me. Once that happened, I got the email in about a week.

Gotcha. Thanks for the reply.

Does anyone know what the captain review board consists of?

I dont know how many, but they are AE managers/Captains. It's simply as it sounds they review the information compiled during the background and interview process and decided if you fit. Basically if you got the preoffer, and you dont have any skeletons in the closet, you will be fine!

If I may add: A CRJ FO I know flew with a CA from the review board. His basic answer to what they look for is "consistency." Interpret that as you may, I suppose.

Sounds good, thanks. On Tuesday I got the email that my app is scheduled for review in 2 days...keeping my fingers crossed!

Review board is AFTER the interview. This thread lays out the process of the hiring process for Eagle. Take a look through it and it should give you a good idea of how it works.

How can one check the status of their app?

TopGunn-

Did you use airline apps? I think there is a place where you can check the status of the application but everything happened relatively quickly. I submitted all of my information on their website and had a friend walk/send a resume in. Less than a week after I submitted on airline apps is when I received the "we're reviewing your app in 2 days" email. Two days after that email I received another email with an invitation to interview; called the number and interview was scheduled for about ~2 weeks out.

On airline apps: "My application" "Publish Application" if you have submitted everything it will say:

Your application(s) has(have) been published.

Any future changes or updates to your application(s) will be sent automatically.

So they should email you :)

Interview is about a week and a half out now...pretty excited!

Hope this helped

Does anyone know if they always call people the day before they are going to the review board? I was told on Weds. that all of my paperwork was in other than one form from the FAA that they were waiting on, which is on AE's end of things. I was hoping I would have went through the board today. The waiting game is not any fun!
