As for Moak... well, if I don't anything nice to say then I shouldn't say anything at all. So _______________________________________________ is all I have to say about that.
Well, I've had a couple grapefruit tequilas, and I've only been in the 121 industry for a couple years now, but if I had to sum it up from my perspective, the guy either doesn't understand the importance of scope one iota, or just doesn't care.
Others can elaborate on their own opinion.
Vice Admiral Moak is running the ship boys. You all better shape up and relax those buttocks. 76 seat flying for everyone! And at 24 bucks to start who can argue with the benefit you all our profession and careers!
LONG LIVE MOAK. 4 MORE YEARS. MY REGOINAL LIVELYHOOD IS SAVED!
Can someone get me on video with some tears so I can embed?
Hey jynxy...
I think our buddy Nick was talking about Moak.
This is sorta what I was getting out. Let's face it, Delta has relaxed scope more than any other airline in the past. They even had to relax it more by making special provisions during the NWA merger since they were suddenly over on the 76 seat front. Rather than saying "No, park 'em. We want that flying, " they went with "Oh, it's cool. We want to make everyone happy." Like Joe, here, I don't want to retire a CA on a CRJ-900 at Pinnacle (or 100 seat or 120 seat). Actually, that won't happen. I'll either be back pushing buttons at a theme park, slinging bags or in a sleazy motel with a bottle of whiskey to drown my sorrows by that point. Until Moak shows that he's willing to take a stand on scope, it's gonna be hard to put aside those personal feelings and get behind him.
I do not support the ALPA President.
I may even cancel my PAC check off because ALPA supports the 500 hour exception for the puppy mill grads....
I'm sure that'll look great.... Leg Affairs Rep not doing PAC check off.... hope it gets the message across.
Todd and Mark - don't lose site of the main thing... no scope erosion... only scope recovery.

If so, I apologize.
:yeahthat:
Please. Enough scope relaxation.
No. More.
