Wait. So being bought by another company means you didn't "make it," and now everyone at the company that bought you gets to step over your carcass? And there are the same stories at XJT and ASA, I'd bet. We've got here at 9E that have been on reserve....well, the whole time. They don't even know what a hard line looks like. I've been on reserve the whole time I've been in the left seat, and I'm not getting off of it any time soon. Is it fair for me to think all the XJ guys should go to the back of the line just because our management bought their management? No. What you're talking about isn't a "fair" list. It's a windfall for Skywest pilots, and if the lists DO merge, all that unity and brotherhood that's hyped during the union drives may as well be spit in the wind apparently.
