Well the company just sent out an email with the "terms" of the offer and suggested we call our association and tell them to "discuss what is fair".
hey Joe,
do you know if there is a link to any information that talks about what portions of the contract are still on the bargaining plate and an explanation for why they haven't been able to come to terms (in layman's terms)?
the spirit scab website shows two Falcon air pilots
What a great experience it was being there on Friday and early morning yesterday. It stinks it had to end up with a strike, but management brought that upon themselves.
The Spirit Pilots are a great bunch of people and we need to give them ALL the support we can! I'm going overseas tomorrow on vacation, but if y'all are on strike when I get back, see you again on the picket line!
last i heard, there were no *scheduled* talks...but of course that word was also via news media and we know how that goesThe Spirit website has a pop up window that announces they are continuing to work with the pilots on an agreement. :insane:

They flew "struck work".
I'm really distressed about the FO's "I didn't know" attitude.
Looking at his resume, he's not new to the business, obviously can use the internet and apparently didn't do the minimum level of scrutiny about what he was asked to do.
1970, ok.
2010? Good grief man, get off FarmVille and onto Google and see what's going on in your industry. He just wrecked his career permanently.

Not being on the 121 side of things, how does this wreck ones career? I mean, I can see it being a bad thing if he was to go to a union shop, but is there some kind of scab list HR looks at, or is it just a list you guys look at prior to flying with someone new, or does the CP have something to do with it? I'm not understanding......![]()
P.S. We are now facebook friends.![]()
Anyone know if there is anything going on at DTW tomorrow?
It's the same every day. 11-1. Thanks for the support!
