They didn't, that I know of, I thought of that after I posted it. I was going more for the pre-ETOPS days than specific airline. I too remember sitting in the middle in the back on UA DC-10s to Kahului-but I also was flying on passes back when employees actually could get first occasionally....and back when First was, well, First Class....

Geez, I am that old...I even went to Kahului a couple times on DC-8s....which Hawaiian did have I believe. Anyway, end anet moment.

They did. my dad flew dc-8's at hawaiian, i never got the chance too ride on one though, that was before my time.
