Trust me I gave it a chance. Three semesters to be exact. If not the Aerospace end (which it is, from what I have seen), then the General education end is way below average.

Actually Duluth is the only one I am considering and I know for a fact it will be better. At least it is a nice area +1 already.

I've mentioned this before in another thread. It might be silly, but you either do it their way or the highway. There will be lot's of silly things when you go to the airlines, corporate, etc. But you'll have to do it the company way. When I was flying for the airlines, we had lot's of silly checklist items and procedures, but it's company policy.

I dont think its that. I think its that the O.P. didn't like UND, and had a bad experience there. Fine, no problem. But he then goes on to tell others not to go to UND, as if nobody has or will have a good experience there because he didnt. Also he didnt seem to take any responsibility for the situation. Everything was UND's fault. Even complaining about the cold, and lack of scenery, as if you didnt know that before arriving.

He then states he hopes to fly for the Air Force one day, as if there will be no rules or regs in that situaiton that he doesnt like. And as far as the cold goes, ever heard of Eilsen or Elmendorf AFB's?

UND is a great school. Which explains the large donations from the alumni.

Whats your beef with SCSU and UMD? Both are unique and quality Universities in that area.

If you (challenger) feel UND is not a great fit then it's great that you realized it when you did! Choose a University more suitable.

I'm all for explaining why someone does not like UND, but to trash talk their Aerospace dept. is irresponsible. UND is one of a few large collegiate flight deptartments that sets the bar for the smaller ones to follow.

How about Grand Forks AFB! That awful Grand Forks "scenery" would probably turn into a winter wonderland if it involved flying a "heavy" for the USAF. Ya'll don't know what you're missing up here! lol

Good call. I also forgot about Minot AFB. I spent some time at Mountain Home AFB, ID its no picnic in the winter either, but not as bad as the aforementioned.

The tankers are leaving GF.......only thing remaining will likely be UAVs.
 
A few days before you leave UND and are required to turn in your laptop, you should drop it on the ground.:rotfl:

Oh and before you leave, change your address, phone number and whatever with the Und system to prevent them from badgering you afterwards.

Take a shower and clense yourself of UnD, start fresh

When did I ever say that I think that? I just said I am not going to PAY for it. Besides I'd rather go home for school, and an Aviation degree will not help me with what I want to do. Doing well in school will.

This is for now. My goal is to be an officer in the Navy or the Air Force. I would really like to fly, but for me its officer above my personal inhibitions. Its just what I want.

But, fortunatly for me I never picked it up and I am dropping 102 so they better take that shiznit off, or else my Lawyer is going to have a little chit chat with them :bandit: :laff:
 
If you were ever enrolled in an AVIT course, they'll have billed you for the laptop...and an hour of a lawyer's time is the same as the laptop payment.

Not enrolled in the class anymore, so they have no legal basis to charge me. This would come down to right and wrong and the law is on my side, that's all.

You were enrolled in the class at the time they charged you for the laptop, thats all they need. You'd be an idiot to lawyer up on this one because either way you're not getting any money back.

Okay... I did not pick it up and nor did I sign a contract. Don't understand law at the Twamley Shuffle or something?:insane:

It will not even be as big of an issue as you people think it is, as soon as I talk to them about it, doubt I'll need my lawyer ;)
