I talked at length to an Avantair captain one day in December. Great guy and was really young. Started to not like the job anymore honestly.
He mentioned how while they look like nice airplanes, they can be a MX nightmare. He gave us specific stories of how stuff randomly catches on fire, equipment goes inop inflight, how the nosegear steering is a pain in the butt to turn on and work, and small things specifically how you can't use full reverse or the airplane would tip over from a nose-up pitching moment.
Still sounds awesome though with the PT6's mounted correctly.
