Not an airline, but as the manufacturer, I have never cared what anyone's GPA was when I interviewed or hired them.
It's Doug and MikeL's fault.......

Exactly what I was talking about. I've met both those guys - anybody that roomed/schooled with either of them (much less both!) has to be one smart dude to graduate at all, much less make a 2.45!

Am living proof you can have a 2.45 GPA from college and still be one of the few to fly the F-117 stealth. All that BS I used to get in the late '80s in AFROTC about "if you don't have a 3.85 or higher, don't plan on being even getting a UPT slot in the AF," turned out to be bunk.
You can't spell Psychology without Psycho, as in the amount of studying required for this class is Psychotic.
I could'nt agree with you more. Its kicking my a$$ this semester.
I think it matters about as much as your SAT scores.
The professors had a saying at my school - "C's get degrees"
How about spending a little less time chasing 18 yr old skirt at the WW Mall and a little more time in the books?? ;-)
If you got it (3.8 here) flaunt it. Otherwise, no one gives a crap.
Also, after your first job no one gives a crap.

When it comes to applying for a job with an airline do they only care about your college GPA, or do they take into account other things as well?Currently my GPA is 2.4 but I really am trying to work hard and bring it up again. I am part of many extra-cirrcular activities involving aviation wont they consider those as well?
