How important is a college GPA?

No, they don't. They never asked me for transcripts in 2007 and never asked my dad for them back in 1977. I can't remember if the application asked for GPA but, it is a moot point because I can't even remember what my HS GPA was. I can ballpark it but I have no clue what the actual number was. If the question was there then I probably left it blank.

Oh shucks, now my high school GPA? That was lower than whale dung. Made me wonder how I even got to college.
