Pubnat 5/6

Anyone else getting real nervous for PEPC tomorrow?? Everyone says it is so relaxed but when you've put in over a year waiting for this interview it is extremely nerve racking!! Well, Good luck to everyone tomorrow. 12 hours and counting
I'm just anxious about medical related stuff. I mean I know I should be fine....but wonder if something stupid comes up and just delays things further?

I know we all get nervous, espeically the day before, but don't worry and psyh yourself out too much. You'll be fine! I bet after everything is said and done, you'll be thinking to yourself why you were so nervous in the first place.

I'm flying out tomorrow :insane:

Let us know how your PEPC goes!

I wore a suit with coat [isn't that what makes it a suit and not slacks and a shirt anyway?] to my interview. It is definitely something they take into consideration, except in extenuating circumstances like TacoTico's.

IMO, dress to impress, dress like you really want the job.

GOOD LUCK GUYS!!! :D

My husbands wearing a suit and tie, complete with jacket. Although the vest sounds awesome! Jetcareers people need a secret handshake or something so you can pick one another out at the PEPC! You know, ease some of the nerves by saying hi.

So, is it time to start our own 'Official' waiting on FOL from PEPC thread, or should we just keep everything here in the PUBNAT 5/6 one?

Maybe we'll call it the 'Official Waiting on FOL for PUBNAT 5/6' thread, then. :rawk:

I second that, since it seems a good portion of us were forced to go traditional, at least of those that post here.

Also, let's wait for the PEPC to be over

Just got done with the PEPC in Chicago. I have some pretty interesting stories to tell. Everything went fine for me, and I met some of my ZHU comrades. Got my TOL and they actually TOLD us we would receive FOL's in about 8 weeks. They actually TOLD us that as we were waiting for interviews.....that was refreshing. Any how, im thinking about putting together a nice little post about the entire experience. The people were great and friendly, it was a blast. For now, I am prepping for the 12 drive to memphis and then the eight hour drive back to Dallas. Good luck to the rest of you.

Well, that would make sense for FY10 class dates.. They should have that schedule done by mid to late August according to what has been posted on here by others who have spoken with their HR reps.

Congratulations! You're gonna be an ATC!!

Funny; we were told FOLs in about 8 weeks as well. So far, it's been 16.

Finished the PEPC in 3 hours! Woohoo! Went in at 9 out at 1215.
I hope I pass the MMPI. That thing was hilarious.
Met some nice people there as well, but didn't ask if any were JC people... how embarassing and revealing that would have been...haha.
Now the wait.
And to see about transfer possibilities.
They're gonna hate me.

Do it. Put a long post together. We are all waiting to hear every detail! No sarcasm.

You must have been in my group...like 8 of the 12 people at the 10am appointment were headed to ZHU. To be fair though, she said there would be no FOLs for at least 8 weeks. So they could come later. Later in the day someone told me no sooner than 4-6 months.

My day was interesting too...like when I effed the eye exam. I could only see 20/30 in my right eye while using the DMV style machine. But I could see 20/20 fine when using the hand held near sightedness(?) chart, and I also saw the 20/20 line fine on the Snell chart, which she let me try after my first failed attempts. I saw one person talking with the Doctor who actually failed the eye exam, so they had to go get their vision corrected if they wished to continue with the career.

One person showed up this morning a day early(Supposed to be there at 10am on Tuesday), but they got him in anyways. Seemed to take a lot of work though, he was outside of security for about 15-20 minutes. The checkpoint is TSA style, shoes and belts off too.

At the 9am appointment they had one no show. As far as the 10 oclock goes I think we got one extra person with us due to the one person showing up a day early.

I had a 10 oclock appointment, and was out the door by 2pm. Certainly could have been worse. Although at one point during the day there was a power surge or something, and the people taking their MMPI had issues. I just heard a lady say they all got locked out or something. I would have been pissed if I was on question 565 and had to start over  That thing is strange BTW.

If anyone has any additional questions I'll be glad to try and answer them.
