Did you email CS first which prompted a response from her? If so, how long did it take to get a response? I sent her an email yesterday morning and haven't heard back yet, but it was about a different topic (I've already interviewed).

I emailed her first - it took about 24 hrs for a response

A bit of information...
Just spoke with one of my contacts. She told me that she will be sending out a bunch of TOL's tomorrow before she goes out of town on Saturday. She is in charge of the central region.

Excellent news! Hopefully a bunch of us central people will get TOLs tomorrow. I got the request from my HR rep today to fax the OF-306.

I'm leaving for Chicago tomorrow AM. Does anyone else have the "butterfly" feeling? I just cant wait to get it over with so I can wait some more.

I'm all butterfly-y and I don't even have to go to the PEPC!! My husband got to Chicago a few hours ago and is hanging out with his best friend's family for a few days. He's playing it all cool, I'm freaking out! Are you driving? Is your family coming with you? I get to stay home with the kids (14 months and 2 1/2) so this next week ought to be interesting...:panic:

Well, my week should be interesting too. We are driving. My wife and I are taking our 11month old. It's going to be insane. I have my earplugs ready....but we are also making this into a vacation as well. It's going to be fun!

Good luck! Traveling with kids can be a nightmare if not handled well! But I find that as long as you stay calmer than the kids, you're doing ok.

I'm a bit anxious about it.

What really has me going though is that:

A. Hospitals blow, and I'm not sure I'm going to have the medical records I wanted to take in time. I see this as a potential delay, which I'd like to avoid.

B. My new eye glasses have not come in yet. My vision has changed slightly from my last perscription. Seeing 20/20 on the chart at the eye Dr. was a bit sketchy, however I seem to recall having an easier time with the DMV syle tester. If I fail my eye exam with my old glasses I'll fu*king lose it though. I'll get Lasik if I have too....

I'll get Lasik if I have too....

Kind of a side note, but I know that the FAA used to really frown on Lasik. I have heard of instances where people didn't get it preapproved and got "processed in accordance with agency directives". I think nowadays they are easing up on it, but I think you still have to get it preapproved. But, like I said that was back in the day, so ymmv.

Lasik is not a condition for DQ.

As long as your vision corrects to 20/20 you will be fine.

You guys have fun at the PEPSI. I hope it's a refreshing blend of fizzy brown sugar, caffeine, interview questions, medical tests, and TOLs.
