Starts June 22nd in Chicago. My email said all enroute candidates will be interviewed Mon. and Tues. that week. 50 candidates per day max.
No other PEPC dates/locations were mentioned.

the name on the e-mail was incorrect, as was the address. I called the number at the bottom of the e-mail and the lady who answered said that they'd been having some problems with snycing emails to names, and that they were working on getting those fixed. So hopefully that means I'm in......
Why can't this process ever go smoothly?
BTW, PEPC is at Chicago, starting June 22.

So far still east and central. Starting to move west though... Someone just got Wyoming.
Rumor has it there will be another wave of emails next week for FY10 people. Someone on SM said they found out the first wave of emails is for FY09 people only. Not sure if that's accurate or not.

OK, I just got an invte to interview for Houston ARTCC. I have already asked one buddy of mine what I should do, but thought I would ask everyone. In my geo preference email, I selected TERMINAL only, but ended up with a CENTER position. I am actually OK with the location and OK with the Center, but wouldn't I have just not received an email if there were no terminal positions rather than getting assigned to an ARTCC? Should I call my rep, or just thank the lord quantas that I even got an invite? (I know I shouldn't complain), just need some direction. Thanks guys!

Just be thankful. Take it. I got a friend there and he originally wanted DFW, but he's not complaining about Houston. Take it and run with it. You always have the option of transferring when you've got some years under your belt.

You should thank the lord asap because Its my understanding that the tower is a level 11 and the center is a level 12 I took a tour of both youll be happy there I would they are cool people. I wish I had the letter so if you don't like it you could send it my way.
PS you just gave yourself about a 10,000 raise in two years (by not calling and trying to switch) congrats
My guess is you received a center because there was no room at the terminal facilities. You can certainly call your rep, but my guess is that there wasn't terminal facilities to give. So you either get a center, or nothing at all. Faced with those options I'd def. just keep the center.
Plus enroute candidates are getting to the Academy sooner...so maybe it's a blessing in disguise?

I had a dream over the weekend that I got an e-mail, but that it said something along the lines of "Michigan? Michigan? Are you kidding? People are running from there, not going there... are you crazy?" I took it that it meant I wasn't getting an invite.
Now that e-mails are out for this side of the country, I'm already sick thinking that my dream meant something.

your understanding is a little wrong...the tower (IAH) is a level 12 (there are three faa towers in houston and three other controlled towers in the area as well), the tracon is a level 12, the center is a level 11.
be happy with what you get. you don't want a level 12 tracon or level 12 tower. you may be able to make it at a level 12 tower, depending on which one it is and your abilities....you don't have that much of a shot making it at a level 12 tracon ots.
