Maniac - what kind of schedule was that captain able to hold when you flew with him?
In case you miss the other thread: skymall.com. Get them to sell your stuff via their catalog. You'll sell more through them than all those other places combined. You'll probably have to jack your direct sales price up quite a bit, tho.Anyone got any suggestions on where else I should advertise?
Geez, that sounds like another profession we know a lot about...Law isn't the profession it once was ... there are too many sub par law schools spitting out too many new attorneys. It's pretty difficult to find work as a new attorney these days. I have many attorney friends whose firms have been laying off in big numbers. People who think law school is an easy ticket to a $100k job should meet and speak with some new attorneys to get the real scoop.
Ok, as stated, I was going to necropost in about a month. Sorry, these things take a while so it ended up being almost 3. But nevertheless, this is my newest side gig. I thought of it, patented it, developed it, manufactured it, and am now selling it. Hopefully it will take off.
www.seatpods.com
ps, the site is still being worked on. Little things to be changed here and there.
Also, it hasn't been officially launched yet. By that I mean, all the advertising that will be done doesn't start until about May 3rd. It will be featured on flightaware, SkyWest Magazine, Google. Anyone got any suggestions on where else I should advertise?
I trade stocks and equity options during my free time. Not enough to call it a second job but it pays for all my bills except my humpty diddle loan.
The only thing I don't like about that seatpod thing is what if the person in front puts their seat back. It renders it useless. I would maybe think about also offering some sort of stand that the iPhone can fit on when the tray table is lowered, like a big collapsible business card holder.
Anyway that's pretty neat, how did you go about designing, manufacturing, and shipping the product? Is it made in the US or another country?

Of my wife's law school friends (Ohio State), the only ones bringing in that type of dough are working quite literally 80 hours a week.
Good job. Now, go make one for the Blackberry!
