Im very impresed by this. This is sort of what i want to follow but navy or coast guard route. Unless you can convince me ANG has got the perks I have been looking for.

23... ATP multi engine. Got my ATP almost (1 day) from the day I got my private license five years ago.

21, Commerical Airplane/Heli Charter Pilot/Flight Instructor, come spring time will be a Chief Flight Instructor/Chief Pilot (Airplanes, Float Planes, Helis) for a new start up company, been flying since 16.

I can understand if someone was posting in "leet/1337" on the forum ad nauseum. If anything that would be an opportunity to mentor and reach out to that individual. Letting said member know that using correct english is proper form when typing on the forum.
Had to Google that one.

I think everyone is giving good advice on the grammar but I think we should give young grasshopper a chance. If he has a 1,000 posts and he hasn't figured the place out and is still typing like he's in a chat room then yeah throw up the unprofessional flag. He's a far ways away from getting a job in this industry and I think some of you should remember the way you posted back when you first started. I remember I used to act like a know-it-all jackass (some probably still think I do) when I was on jetPhotos.net. It's embarrassing now to think I thought I knew it all back then and actually knew very little.
Professionalism is key but also being likable is a great networking tool. I much rather recommend someone for a job who I know I'll enjoy being on the road with or the pilots they will fly with will enjoy being in the cockpit with them. There is a fair number of pilots out there that are highly skilled, trained, and qualified to do the stuff we do but very few of them would I actually want to be a foot away from for 4 hours straight.
To the OP,
 (rootbeer) and welcome to the forums. Read more than you type, ask more than tell, and compliment more than complain and you'll do just fine here and in this industry.

21, and just finishing up my commercial. Will be doing my Multi IFR next month if things go as planned.

And Can we drop the spelling and grammar discussion it is really getting old and off topic.?

It looks like we should drop the subject because your just not going to get it.

Demo 13
FBO Job 16
Private at 18
Instrument 19
Commercial, CFI 20
CFII 23
MEI 24

Best quote regarding my age (I was 21 at the time) by one on of my students:
"Man I wish my son had it half as together as you do, but he doesn't, he's a real F-up."

I think it's you who needs to convince them that you've got the perks they're looking for.

We wouldn't they hire me, I'm ten feet tall, bullet proof, invincible, and and!! I'm a licensed pilot, so, you know, I wouldn't need to be trained. :sarcasm:

I started flying when I was 20, now I'm 26(27 in feb) with a multi ATP, CFI/CFII/MEI

Stuck going round and round in this CFI job...

It looks like we should drop the subject because your just not going to get it.

I am not sure you will either. "Your" is the second person possesive in English. I believe that you meant "you're," the contraction of "you are."

Poor grammar hurts my eyes.

If I said dam would it add to the irony? I hate when I do that.

Only if you're talking about Hoover Dam, or some other means of blocking water.

Damn, on the other hand, might be the word you're looking for.

:D

(I just couldn't resist... sorry!)
