It took us 45 minutes to top off a Cheyenne I the other night.:insane:
I've done the caravan in 40 knot winds. How I didn't die is beyond me. How I didn't throw up from ingesting fuel is a miracle. I didn't taste much for a few days after though.
Now the amphib, that's easy! I could do that all day!
Heres my solution

I did all that while going uphill both ways in 10 ft of snow...![]()
My worst, Q400 overwing.
It can only get worse, one Q400 needed to be overwinged 4 times in one day. Did 3 of them and managed to escape back to the office before it came back in again.
That's pretty sucky about the 747, none of your trucks don't have a fixed level elevated work platform that works on the 747?
+1. I've never fueled a helicopter that didn't suck.
747's are fun with our equipment. Our trucks don't have any lift platforms, so we have to stand on a ladder on top of a truck. It's really safe.![]()
I agree with the MU2. If your fueling it by yourself you have to do the inboards, then out boards then 30 per tip if you dont want to tip it over. Good workout though...Yeah, but at most that is what, 30 gallons? Worst for me was either the early Learjet (23/24/25) or MU-2. Or the CAP 172 that would come in and ask for 2.9 in each tank.

Aerobats are the worst. I fly one and that vent drips like there is no tomorrow with a full tank.i have actually put some more thought into this and im starting to say fueling 150s and 152s just because they are impossible to not spill fuel. even it it doesn't blast out of the caps, it'll always rain out of the vent. damn aerobats.
