WIA worth it?

Do they come in with a seniority list, their name highlighted and say, "Ok... EVERYONE below this name should not be hired."?

Oh man, I'd love to see that.

A lot of guys I've talked to really think the recruiting departments care about whether they are senior to candidate X or Y at their current shop and that that somehow plays into this whole process.

They don't care.

That's an outstanding point. Amazing how pervasive that is. It's the consequence of years of a senior person being told that they are better and entitled to things first before someone of lower seniority.
