The TRUE scandal here is that the national anthem sounds like it’s being sung at a funeral, and that the flyby occurred before the end of the song.
However, this reinforces why I’ve always said that flyovers are a waste of time. As a pilot doing these, you at best…..at best…..break even. You never win, and you’re always at high risk of losing, by whiners and complainers who don’t even know of what they speak, EVEN if you do everything right. It’s become a completely needless hassle. And hence why all the veteran older pilots run away fast when the unit gets a flyover tasking and is looking for “who wants to do this? It’s a great opportunity!” Nope, it’s really not.
