It's all a gamble today's winners will be tomorrow's losers, a mentor told me make the best decision you can with the information that you have now (not rumors) and then buy him a beer in 5 years and tell him how it works out.
I have been at Gojet since October and so far am happy with the decision. As for me, I agree with those who suggest anywhere where you don't have to commute to your base. The whole commuting/crash pad thing can be stressful and costly (remember you will be broke until upgrade)!
Seriously neither... PSA and TSA have the most growth right now so you stand the greatest chance of not sitting reserve forever and upgrading quicker. Compass is a great choice but I don't know what your background and experience is and they tend to only hire guys with previous 121 time. Horizon and SkyWest are great if you want to live on the west coast but their upgrade times are a little longer than some of the others. Air Wisconsin has a great contract and good pay but perhaps a less certain future than the other choices. In today's hiring environment, why would your only options be two of the least desirable airlines? Express Jet is parking airplanes and you will be on reserve and in the right seat for a long time. GoJet has a terrible contract and they are relatively stagnant right now. I have 2 friends at GoJet and 2 at Express Jet and they would all tell you not to go to their respective airlines. Go work for the airline that has a domicile where you would like to live.
