WHICH ONE!?!

Oh yeah, comair or skywest? Being from the Nasty-Natty, Cincinnasty, getto-naty,... what ever you want to call it, Cincy. I would go with Comair.
As far as the pay freeze went through, my friend there said he voted yes to it just because it has a furlough protection clause in it. Those who voted on the contract are protected, new hires are not.
But then again, Denver is pretty cool also.

Man, what is it with Cincinnati people and their Skyline? It's just like how Philly people talk about thier glorious Tastykakes.

Hey guys and gals,

I have the fortunate problem of a job offer from both Comair and SkyWest. SkyWest has offered the CRJ so the equipment is equal. Which airline do I choose? I need to choose quickly classes start in a week and three weeks respectively.

I have my own pros and cons of each....which would you all choose? Who is going to be doing the best in three years?

Later....help!!

Well.... Curious to which you decided on? Both are good choices.

Hey all....

Figured I'd update on the dilema. I chose SkyWest, when it comes down to it they were the better choice for me.

My reasons:

1) Get to live where I want. (Denver!! Lots of family and friends close by....and it is a Jr. Domicile!!!)
2) Off reserve quicker. SKYW reserve looks to be about 3-4 months....CMR reserve 11-15 months!
3) If things keep moving like they are I will be ready for upgrade at SKYW in 2-3 years, rather than 4-5 at CMR.
4) SKYW is hiring like mad...I should have 400 pilots junior to me by march of next year.

Comair is a great airline and I am glad I had the luck to get to choose which one was right for me. See you all in the big blue. (p.s....and that chili was nasty

Skywest. They seem to be in the better position. They have a strong balance sheet and there are rumors that they will be doing some independent flying if UAL augers in. FWIW, Skywest is non-union if that matters to you. If you want the east coast, they do have an ORD base.

Comair is getting very few new airplanes, but they do have new bases in GSO, TPA, JFK, and MCO. I think that JFK is very junior.

Also, I've lived in "Cincinasty" and it is actually very nice on the Kentucky side, which is where the airport is. The only reason that we left was base closure/furlough.
