Probably my favorite, too. Absolutely nothing like the Belle's real final mission, but still an entertaining Hollywood movie. If you like that one, check out The Tuskeegee Airmen.

Right on with Memphis Belle. What a great movie that is. But I have to admit that Top Gun was probably the movie that made me want to be a pilot in the first place. Anyone watch the first two Iron Eagle movies. Those movies are so 80s it pretty much hurts but they have some good scenes non the less.

It's been a while since I have seen it, but I particularly enjoyed Tuskegee Airmen. Such a cool movie because the whole thing was true. Iron Eagle, although super cheesy, was my personal favorite growing up as a kid.

"The Aviatior" - Not the recent Howard Hughes/Leonardo portrayal (although it isn't too bad) but the 1980's movie adaptaion of Earnest K. Gann's book, Christopher Reeve was the lead actor and also did the flying in the movie. Also enjoy "Island in the Sky" and "The High and Mighty"

How could nobody mention Airframe or Flight Plan or any of those absolutly trashy ones that came out in the past year or 5.
Are we going to allow animation? If so any of Miyazaki's, escpecialy Castle in the Sky. Otherwise, I think the movie version of the Black Sheep Squadron (there was a movie version right? I'm not just thinkin of the TV show) was good.

If by "sort of" you mean "helicopter."There was a TV show based on the movie, too.
