What are you crazy? My skis are so fat the total surface area is greater than most snowboards.

You got me beat. All I've got are a pair of Salomon slalom skis. They're great for packed powder and ice, but put them in powder and I'm in a world of hurt.

I just shattered my collar bone and tore all the ligaments in my shoulder yesterday afternoon at Powder Mt.

Dude, that sucks. Hope you heal up and get better quick!

Re: What\'s up in SLC?

Re: What\'s up in SLC?

RPM - I LOVE Powder Mtn. I used to live in Layton and would spend my winters snowboarding at Powder and Snowbasin!! Those are two great local mtns, altough I hear that Snowbasin has changed quite a bit because of the '02 Winter Games. Oh well, what can you do? Anyway, take care of that collar bone so you can hit the pow pow soon! GO BIG!

RPM, I feeel your pain. I broke, in 98, my back in three places. Was in bed for 4 months. It could be worse you could watch Opra W. for 4 months. My condolences. Funny thing is I broke mine right before training as well.

Yea, I work at Powder Mt. - I'm a ticket checker, and take people on backcountry tours to show em where all the sweet spots are, and demo Lib Tech, Mervin manufacturing stuff, basically I work for about an hour and then just get paid to ride all day!!

Powder Mt. is the biggest secret around, best resort in the state - period. If you like the steep and deep, but you have to know where to go, sooo much backcountry!

Snowbasins allright, they changed alot for the Olympics, its way better than it used to be. I can ride all the mountains around for free but I still spend all my free time at Powder Mt., maybe Brighton once in awhile, all the rest are just yuppie resorts.

Re: What\'s up in SLC?

I also graduated in 98. It was my T-12 front and back and my T-11 and 10. The T-12 is the last rib bearing vertabra.
