What's important to you in an airline?

Benefits then pay....even if your pay is higher at airline y but your benefits (in our case health ins) cost upward of $8,000 a year, your actually keeping more if you make a little less at airline x but your health ins cost $1000 instead. After that I'd say bases and proximity to where you live/commutability.
 
I'm a year and a half to two away best case scenario, but for me in order of importance:

Base.
Time off.
Pay.
Everything else.
 
Ehhhhh, if you can somewhat navigate a "smart phone" I think you can handle the situation you said above. I went from a plane with no fms to one that is built around the fms with little trouble. I do know what you are getting at though, I just enjoy being difficult. :)
Who doesn't?
 
After doing this job for a few months I am starting to realize that safety, schedule, and qol are most important.
