I've heard of no such policy where I work about getting on top of the trucks or not (Netjets frequents our airport a decent amount). That is news to me...we don't generally climb up there anyway.
I wasn't able to read every post on this thread...so apologies in advance. But when I was instructing a few years back, our line guy put about 60gal of 100LL into a Cheyenne (turbo-prop). The Cheyenne departed about 20mins before a different line guy caught the mistake on the fuel slip.
At least you can run 100LL for 100hrs on those particular engines. I can't remember if the were PW or Garretts.
So do most Garretts.Probably pratts. I know most PT6 airplanes have that capability.
