What is the Best Electronic Logbook

Been enjoying the one built in to Foreflight, but haven't spent enough time with it to say it's "the best" at what it does. Definitely works for my purpose.

Safelog has been good for me. Annoying that all of them have gone to a subscription model, but oh well.

Agreed, I recommend the enterprise edition. You can use it on different devices. A 1 time buy and that's it. No subscription!
I've been using the ForeFlight logbook really because ForeFlight is free for me. I generally like it, but it does have some significant cons.
Pros:
Easy interface and backed up externally. If you fly with your iPad you have no excuse to get behind in logging flights.
Exportable to excel. (Also a con..)
Excellent flight time and basic currency summaries.
Excellent 8710 summary.
Cons:
No printing capability.
No "logbook" view capability.
Exporting: separates tail numbers from aircraft types. In other words, when exported you don't get a column for aircraft type. You have to manually match up your tail numbers with type.
Exporting: exports flight times in hours and minutes instead of in hours and tenths. You have to apply a formula to convert it back.
No custom currency options.

What's the trick for getting the "free" version--are you a ForeFlight dev? I get a 33% off discount through NAFI which is the only substantial discount I'm aware of.

To the OP, another thing that's nice about mcclogbook, it prints in about 50 variations, however you want, to include custom reports and other goods. The reports are limited by your imagination. ME flights on Tuesdays of odd months if that's what you want. Here's an example of the query option

Take a look at Pilot Partner. It's been on the market for a couple of years now, and works well, cross platform.
It's under active development, new features are added regularly.

Works great for GA and airline schedules. Customer service is probably one of the best I've ever dealt with. Nice, fast and fix the problems I've ever had.
Lots of good options really. I own a PC though, so...that's why I'm not on LogTen and I don't like logging on my phone.

Since we're talking about e-logs, can somebody render an opinion about Log Ten Pro? It looks like it has everything I want, but I'm not sure the fee/subscription structure is what I want. I was about to download it, but the reviews in the Apple store are so poor that I stopped.
I'm thinking that after I get through the job search and I'm where I'm going to be I just export whatever e-log I have to Excel and be done unless I feel like I need it for the rest rules function.
With that said, I'm looking for an e-log that will print my logbook out (when the time comes) in a smooth and professional format.

@tattooguy21 just said military, not specifically military pilots.
So, I'm curious which one is correct.

Apologies. My understanding is that you have to show proof that you are military. Recently had some co-workers sign up for it at the office and didn't send in any certifications/etc that would prove them flyers.
Someone here can correct me if I'm wrong.
Actually, I assume it's anyone in the military. There was a lengthy registration process through the NGA and there was no requirement to be a pilot come to think of it.
