What have you done to further your career today?

I've updated apps and scheduled meet and greet sessions for OBAP next month in last couple days, but nothing today because I'm in the middle of moving to a new place. I'm also looking for the book that details jetBlue's start up to read before heading to Atlanta as well.

I've got one of the two books on that. Shoot me an address and it's yours.

Let's see:
1. Get some overtime in to get some more flying money.
2. Spend a five hours studying for the ATP written.
3. Try to pour over this CFI stuff.
4. Try to get someone to buy my B&W CM8 speakers (more flying money).
5. Look for airfare for some event in October in Vegas.

Thank you both! First round on me if we ever have the opportunity.

Filled out pre-employment paperwork for one of the large local flight schools that does a brisk business in foreign students, gave myself another ulcer studying for the ATP written, and decided on cookies instead of cake for my going away party from my airport customer service job.

On top of studying for my upcoming Compass interview I updated AirlineApps, got my Logbook Pro printed, bound and updated the 'ol resume. I also made a call to a friend who happens to be a good contact at the airline I hope to work for some day. Unfortunately, not every day is nearly this productive... but it was good timing that this thread popped up so I could post about it!

Wore my company mandated glow in the dark chartreuse vest while conducting the walk around while the company DO was watching from concealed location.

I'm not a fan of the new vest's. Just one more thing to have to keep track of. Luckily something that bright can not be lost.

Completed my first semester of community college online, told my boss I'd be interested in being considered for assistant manager of the tower I work in. So far I'm uncontested lol.

Oh, and found a place to do stand-up comedy this week.
