What does your screen name mean?

I had a friend who thought it was funny that I majored in philosophy, but wanted to be a pilot. He kept saying, "I've never heard of a philosopher pilot."

I've thinking of changing it though. That was a long time ago, and I think it's easy to misunderstand the name's meaning.
 
Nickname I had back in high school when I played hockey plus the year I escaped the Colorado mountain school for wayward children. Those days, like the shot and speed, are long since gone. I think I'll go have a beer now.

You and me both man. Lived 45 min south of Munich for middle school and high school. Miss it a ton.

Vaughn is some of the best made gear out there. To be honest, I say that without ever really having tried other stuff, but since I've worn it, felt no need to even try other stuff. My old Vision T5500 catcher is still one of my most prized possessions.

I still have a Vision 3500 catcher and I absolutely love the thing. Haven't played since '06. Really want to get back out there, but just haven't had the time.

I used to be BigWaveDave... Then I heckled Derg about a name change and well, now I remain a monument to Idiocracy. Sadly this is my only notable accomplishment in aviation. Other than being really good at fetching the ice, coffee and papers. I'm REALLY good at it by the way. So if you fly something that is considered "large cabin" you should consider me for an ice and coffee fetcher position because then I will have run the gamut of ice, coffee and papers.
