What are your 2010 AVIATION goals?

Get a job and get off of unemployment...

Prospects are looking good right now, I hear I did really well in the Imagine Air interview and hopefully the new year brings that job to me!

It'd be a great job to have before really trying to get an Aviation Safety Inspectors job...that's my big push for this next year, network and try to find one of those jobs.

Finish my Aviation Science degree at UVU, fly as much as I can at OO to get as close to 1000TPIC and fly the tankers again this summer. Oh yeah, take a helicopter lesson and land at my house. Oh yeah again...get my tailwheel endorsement.

Take off from and land on water.

:yeahthat: I've made that a goal for late 2010.

I intend to take the ATP written within the next 3 months.

Otherwise I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing. Tomorrow will be a good start with a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands :yup:.

Get tailwheel endorsement
Maybe a little glider training
Hopefully get new instructing job as my current one I ended up earning just a little over half what a regional FO makes.
Be safe

CFI-A/I/G and MEI

- Work as a CFI full time over the summer (then part time at SIU in the Fall)
- Tow/instruct gliders part time on the weekends
- Maybe find some time to do another glider race

Get instrument rated. (Hopefully take the written next week or the week after)

Fly my arse off and get to 250 hours.

-Have ATP min's even though I won't be old enough to take the test.

-Make a living at flying & enjoy the experience.

-Finish up the gold seal

Get instrument rated. (Hopefully take the written next week or the week after)

Stay instrument current :) Most of the aircraft I'm flying now don't have a heading indicator or artificial horizon!

Fly my arse off and get to 250 hours.

Take your time and enjoy yourself. I haven't spent a dime on "timebuilding" hours in my life. Take some trips with your friends, do some other ratings. Don't turn this into a job any sooner than you have to :)

Try to find the love I once had for flying... (I lost it once I lived the dream and realized that trying living on a CFI salary with a wife and 3 kids leads to bad financial times...)
