not know your name. easiest one at UND. after the 14 (15 when i did 102) i didn't pass both parts of a stage until my 325-103. stage checks suck, they make them much harder than need be and just ask piddly #### you don't need to know to be a pilotYeah I am going to just go through all of the.
What would it take to get unstaged in the oral?

do you have an airport diagram on your kneeboard? if not get one and put it there. check the 102 lab site for one. if they say you can't use it, then screw them and find a new stage pilot. there is nothing wrong with using a diagram to be a safe pilot. you could also request progressive taxi if you get really really nervous (but i would go with the diagram method myself)lol.. I wouldnt go that far.
Fears about the Stage 14.
Taxi to the wrong runway
Cant find reporting points and get lost
Get lost period
Forget to hold 70 knots before taking out power and starting stablized descent in power off stall
Forget to wait till 63 knots to applying full power in the power on stall
<-nervous

label it if you are unsure. seriously how can they unsat you for being too safe? you can also orientate it in the direction you are currently facing to help with situational awarenessI have one small one and one big one but I usually glance at the small one but I really use the big one. I just have to figure out what direction we are facing in relation to the map.

Your right. I just need to use my head and realize that if we are facing North on Charlie ramp we are facing 26. And to the right of us is 17L. ETC. The planes will be facing N or S.
To this day, I still have to think for a second when taxiing from charlie ramp. North feels like south and vice versa whenever I'm on that ramp for some reason. I don't get that at any other airport I've been to either.
Maybe it's magnetic deviation of the brain from the buildings. haha![]()
I am trying to figure out what I need to know for 91.213. The review says I need to know how to use an MEL. All 91.213 talks about are restrictions of use.
Like: You must have the MEL on board with the FAA certification with it.
What can not be listed on your MEL.
Aircraft needs to have information of operation with inoperable equipment.
eeek. I need to get that book Foltz was talking about. I think it was FARs explained.
Another thought: have you gone to the Aerospace Learning Center in Odegard for a mock oral? It's free and would probably a good study tool for you. The students there are CFI or CFII applicants so it's also good teaching/evaluating practice for them. I highly suggest it.
Believe me...the tutoring center has had lots of CFI students working it lately. Usually we don't even encounter one person seeking help the entire shift -- it is usually just a bunch of CFIs hanging around talking. It would be pretty exciting if somebody actually came in needing some help!If they're even available. Last semester the CFI availability was pretty limited in the tutoring center - not sure how it is now.
I got them all pretty much right but messed up the order in one. He asked me Emergency descent, Engine Fire in start and Engine Failure in flight.
The easiest way to remember these if you forget on a test because of test anxiety...my 102 instructor taught me this.
Engine Fire On Start...
Sheeit Man, There's a F---ing Fire!
Engine Failure In Flight...
F--- There's More Fire Here!
...you know what the letters stand for from your checklist.
