ATAC had one of their Kfirs at NTU about a week ago.
Yeah I was gonna say.....all their reps were at tailhook a few weeks back as well.

ATAC closed up shop a while ago and their A-4s are all stored on the south side of IWA, unfortunately.
Speaking of Kfir's, the Marine Reserve unit VFMT-401 at MCAS Yuma used to fly Kfir's as aggressor aircraft in the late 1980s prior to getting their F-5s.
Gotta say -401 has the best ATC callsign...."sniper"![]()
Yeah....fighting them was a pain in the ass back when I did it. They're definitely good.
Small parts here and there......
The main wreckage they wanted to ship out......never made it out of the packing room in the basement of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade.
Yep. He did. Went on to make at least 1 star,I found this on google images when I was trying to ID the F16 at SFO.
I hope the guy made it home...
Well they couldn't fly it but they did get the wreckage and study it. I have no doubt that the PAK FA T-50 is based on technology from that downed F-117. I'm just curious what other stuff they got.
Those look just like what I saw. Thanks!!
They aren't flying anymore as the operation seems to be done, but are still parked on the ramp at Andersen AFB.
The Navy and Marines fly them. When I was in the swiss air force, we sold back to the US the F5, they painted them in Soviet colors, what they use them for?
Maybe I'll see them next week. The wife and I are going to attempt to Space-A to Guam this weekend.
Man I saw this post a little late. Did you make it out to Guam?
