USA Jet Airlines...

I liked MMIO. Fast and efficient, since they didn't care about passports or paperwork, lol.
Efficient?....meh hard to call anything in Mexico efficient with all the darn red tape. Having to drive a golf cart 2 miles across the field to bribe somebody to put one of 4 physical stamps on your flight plan to be released just isnt efficient.
When I get to LRD, turn on my iphone and that emailed flight plan comes through from dispatch and flighaware alert pops up I'm like thank god for the USA.

That being said I will take MMIO pretty much over anywhere in Mexico especially if just dropping off freight because it is..."fast".

?
Compared to other places, it was a breeze.

The best part about coming back to Laredo from anywhere in Mexico is washing your hands at customs. I think I scrub a layer of skin off every time.

Nothing customs related. Their bathrooms smell like sewage, and all the smoke detectors chirp. Standard Mexico.

Bathrooms what bathrooms? Every time I have been to MMHO I have parked on the closed runway and made to sit there until the freight arrived.

...that's because you haven't been there with an airline that rampers like. Show up in "The White Eagle", help push freight, and Juarez gives you the hookup. You'll see someday.

......Oh memories. Still got friends over at USA Jet. Some of the best/ most fun flying coupled with THE crappiest equipment and leadership in 135 ad hoc charter. I sure am glad those days are in the past now.

The best part of it was finding out the Feds pulled the certificate of the joint I did my stint at for several months starting about a week after I left. I still chuckle at that one.

I saw a green painted FA20 I believe you once flew in FLL the other day...
