Think. Of 1800+ furloughees, only 22% accepted recall. Why?
I could give you my reasons. I loved US Airways. It was the airline I wanted to work for since I was a child -- (well technically it was Allegheny then, but you get the picture).
This is not the same US Airways. The payrates and work-rules have been decimated. The integration will create bad blood for decades. There is no commuter policy. There is no trip improvement. There is no passing.

Why did only a fraction of those of us hired by US Airways in 1999 elect to return to that company when we were recalled?
