I thought you didn't practice shouting down/shaming/bullying outside of this forum (with your coworkers).
Doing that (and more) is completely acceptable when it comes to SCABS.

Actually, I didn't say that. I just said that no one here is my coworker, and we aren't at work.
Suffice it to say that while I don't believe in unprofessional behavior in the work place such as shouting at people, I don't have any problem with other methods of trying to influence the cowards in our midst. Peer pressure, ridicule, etc. are powerful motivators for those who need motivation to stay unified. For example, listing non-members and delinquent members is something that I've always supported. You'd be amazed how quickly most people will pay their dues when their name gets posted on the crew lounge wall.
Yeah, because friendly conversation will convince the wannabe SCABs not to cross a picket line.
What color is the sky in your world?

No one's name gets written until they've already been addressed directly (and politely) and it produced no results. Which, of course, proves my point. Friendly conversation does nothing to convince these scumbags. But as soon as they get called out publicly, they fall in line pretty quickly.
Their bad decision ruins other people's lives. Not acceptable. Sorry, we aren't going to agree on this one. Maybe if you'd lived in a neighborhood full of striking pilots and watched their families get torn apart because of a bunch of SCABs you'd have figured it out.
You are single handedly convincing me I've made a mistake in my decision to vote yes to ALPA.
Meh. I know that's the standard line, but I still find bullying reprehensible among people who claim to be professionals.
There will be no shouting down or bullying on my forum.
That's cool. You go find a SCAB that is a "professional" and I'll reconsider bullying them.
And just so people are clear, in my 5 years as a captain at my previous gig I only had the pleasure of kicking out ONE guy who was on the list.
But boy did I have fun with that.
You have the list / check it for jumpseaters...?
Not that I'm involved in whatever vote you have going on...You are single handedly convincing me I've made a mistake in my decision to vote yes to ALPA.
