Which fleet was the last Flight Engineers at your shop, DC-10, or 727?

That's an interesting question that I don't know the answer to. I believe they both were retired in 2013.Which fleet was the last Flight Engineers at your shop, DC-10, or 727?
At UPS it was the 747. Rarely known fact was UPS actually agreed to pay for PFE's flight training to qualify for the right seat as the F/E position wound down. Some did. Some didn't. But those that did were very senior as they retained their initial hire seniority number. Another crazy thing that happened was the age 60 rule only applied to front seats. Some guys downgraded to F/E to retain their number after age 60 and when age 65 happened they upgraded back to the Capt seat their seniorty number could hold. Crazy times. They were affectionately called "retreads".Which fleet was the last Flight Engineers at your shop, DC-10, or 727?
Good times. I seem to remember the FE written was a hiring requirement up to 2010 or so…At UPS it was the 747.
