The news station said that DCA is going to be closed until 6am in the morning...

Have you read the front page of the Washington Post? National is closed until 6am like you said, until they reasses the situation, BWI has been closed and are hoping to open a runway tonight, Dulles is handling a limited number of arrival and departures. Above ground metro has been shut down since 1pm becuase trains were having trouble maintaining power through the snow. Good luck even trying to get on the metro tomorrow.

We can take underground metro all the way to the Pentagon, then we'll take a cab... been studying the plan all day!!!!
 
American cancelled flights into PHL tonight.. which means the outbound won't be there in the morning, I imagine.

I'd imagine we'll have more of the same all around.

LOL...you are trying to get out of town and bad. Best of luck...I can't even get out of my driveway and I've been shovelling every two hours. Ugh...

Wow. Today was NUTS! 1500 stranded pax going from SFO-IAD ALONE! Not to mention every JFK flight canceled, plus BOS and EWR. We can't rebook anyone to IAD until Tuesday. Best of luck to any non-revs, better buy a ticket.

Believe me sir I would LOVE a Suburu... but when my Granny decided to pass on, she didn't see fit to buy a Suburu before she went... she decided on an Oldsmobile Delta 88, so that's what I drive cuz that's what she left me :rawk:
 
I think we are actually getting out! Our flight out of DCA is still showing good, as is the one before ours... birds are waiting to leave to Chicago to come here, so I'm hoping the worst that could happen is that ours is delayed. I need to use all of my aviation good-karma that I have saved up right now!
 
WELL I MADE IT OUT OF DCA ON OUR ORIGINAL FLIGHT!!!! Yes it was 1.5 hours late, and we had to sprint across "'Hare to make our connection to Tulsa, BUT WE MADE IT!!!!!

HAHA Boris, I had to legitimately laugh because that was a good BURN... but me being from Tulsa, I used to despise it so much. Well I've moved here and there and everywhere, and I've actually come to love Tulsa and Oklahoma in general.

Hey you being a Moo2 guy, do you ever go into the place off of 36L at KTUL that has all of the cargo MU-2's?

I had the same experience with Louisville (my hometown). Wanted to get out for years, lived all over the place for the better part of a decade, and now I want to go back. And there's nothing wrong with Tulsa if you don't mind the worst weather in the world and a pretty girl behind every tree. :)
