A union representing a majority of North America's Airline Pilots came under a Denial of Service attack at Noon eastern today. This is the first report of any kind of attack on The Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA) headquartered in Herndon, VA. DDos attacks send millions of requests to online servers for information, effectively overloading them and causing them to crash.

"Obviously this is a state-sponsored effort from the MidEast airlines to undermine our ability to collectively bargain for our members and compete fairly in the global marketplace," Capt. Lee Moak, President of ALPA said.

"We'll continue to distribute emails to our members every day that contain little useful information."

Information is still coming in from this developing story. Stay tuned for updates. //12:55EDT

Nothing like being frustrated by this and getting the news that myparents dog (who I'm very close with) isn't doing well and us "being made comfortable for the rest of his time with us."

Swift kick in the feels.

Just got an email from the committee running this and apparently it is closed.

Best of luck to all those that got in.

Interesting. Was supposed to be open for a week. Guess they got a bit overwhelmed.

Lol. I think we all knew this was going to happen and that there wasn't a need for a 1 week registration window.

Just like with everything else in this industry, its all about timing and dumb luck.
