Hmm...funny how one company's recent CPA with United/Continental allows for replacement of larger turbo-prop aircraft as old small jets die off...
I may have misread but I remember it being up to 75 large RJ replacing 50 seaters one for one pending merged airline's scope clause.
I've heard that UAL wants to diversity it's Q feed...I think the SURE parent company should work hard at getting at SLC/ATL/IAH. If the union was smart we'd offer low rates, make it competitive just to get the aircraft on property. Then we'll work on bringing rates up. That's the way to grow. Sad but true, get the ac here first, then worry about the pay.
Hehe, aim high hu?
I'm not sure there's a point to aim high initially. Get the aircraft on property, get movement, that'll make everyone happy...then work on pay. Stagnation is the worst evil at a regional, followed by low pay. Riddle me this, why were people going to lower paying regionals with movement and turning their noses up at places like Eagle which were stagnant?
Remember, horizon has one less bid period, so the rates at far. Are a bit inflated.

I would believe that, but I think pinnacle Inc holds the options for the next 30 or so that would be delivered stateside. I doubt the boys in men would let those go cheap right now.
Which is why we'd get the latest and greatest ATR back on property. Both sides of SUREJET having a history with the aircraft. As far as the Q, why would Bombardier put themselves in that corner with Colgan? Sure it's possible, it just seems like an unlikely business move on the manufacturer's part.

Apparently Sapa and skywest management were at the table today talking about a pay rate. Also it has been proven fact now that skywest submitted a bid for this rfp using 200 rates as the pay rates for the q400 even though the pilot group and sapa haven't been told what the pay rate is going to be.
