United Installing New Winglets on all 737 NGs

After that United will start installing GReddy chevroned chrome exhaust tips and TypeR stickers by the doorway on each plane.

Is it possible to put a fart-can muffler on a turbofan engine? United should look into this. It's the only thing missing from your list!

That and mount the tires with stupid camber and toe setups.

Totally hoon it!

Gotta limo tint the windows and add some HID/LED Neon lights. Ya know... The "final touches for the night". Stickers only perform during daylight hours.

Still no new batteries for the 787...
Aviation Partners is the one paying for the STC most likely...not Boeing

Heh...weird winglets have been around awhile. I suppose rising fuel costs make the weird look less important than the fuel savings.

Basically these new winglets are the precursor to the 737MAX. My first thought when I saw these new winglets was that the Airbus wingtip fences were a novel idea. They took it and really modified it (that way, the EADS company can't file a patent suit).

Haters....

Nothing wrong with a more efficient, futuristic looking airplane.

You guys & gals acting like yall did not upgrade from the Iphone 4S to Iphone 5. Or IPad 3 to the new IPad3- with Rectum display (no typo there).

These composite airframes/retrofitting/re-engining/redesigning will buy Boeing another 20 yrs+ to design/develop the next great thing flying our friendly skys.

THey are not even remotely similar to the airbus fences... only in profile view do they begin to have a resemblance of the outline, but that's even a stretch..

Even some lowly econobox cars have lane-change warnings when it senses there is something too close to you. Why hasn't anyone come up with something like this for aircraft where you can't see all the stuff hanging off of it? Doesn't seem like it would be that hard. Hell... even mounting a camera at the top of the tail would be better than nothing.
