Why the corporate welfare in the first place? Couldnt that tax money have gone to education or small business or something else worthwhile in the state, rather than letting a big corporation skate from paying taxes that others have to?

Knowing some of the powers-that-be involved, this was calculated and fully anticipated. Best $40 million spent that we didn't have for years anyway.
