No TR's!! Especially on a slick runway, yikes!
Sounds stupid, but I did not know that any US airline had airplanes w/o TR's WHEN it was an option. IMO TR's, are like airbags in a car, they should be required. (Yes I'm aware most air carriers calculate runway landing data as if no thrust reversers were used, but still. . . . ) Too bad so many airline pencil pushers think this way. I wonder how much money they will "save" if there are lawsuits for this incident. OK I'll stop ranting.
Glad everybody is OK.
The first few times I flew the Brasilia my most favorite thing about the experience was when we landed and I got to slap it into reverse. (That whole beta thing.
