United 2025

Does anyone know how many Navigate applicants on average got hired after getting their DX cert through the program? My gf is a FA at UA and is trying to come over to Dispatch but there's not a ton of info. We reached out to the email and they told us to send in a resume and a LOR but that's all the info I have.
Since the program began there have been a few each class who were hired. I believe most, if not all of the graduates received interviews. Each hiring class seems to be a good balance of external and internal selections. Class is scheduled during off duty times so I'm unsure how it would work for FA scheduling.

sorry to bother you cropdusta but which exact books 📚

Some personal recommendations:

Also Sheffield’s ADX test prep app. Pricey but great for on the go knowledge refreshers.

Most internals that I’ve seen go over there or are trying to go over there have gone through other schools to get them. Navigate classes don’t seem to happen with any sort of regularity at the moment.

If she was working a dispatch adjacent gig like scheduling (where you can trade shifts to the point of having weeks off at a time) my advice would be to look at attending a school that offers the majority of it online. Then you go to wherever the class is held for the last week or two. Not sure if she’s a line holder or a reserve, but if she has the ability to get a line I’d go for that so you have some semblance of what the schedule would look like going into it.

I appreciate the replies and info. Yeah, our biggest concern is how this would work for a FA short of being given some sort of leave or COLA. Unlikely that they’d approve it. Definitely a little bit trickier. She emailed the Navigate Info team to see what they say. Guess we will find out. It’s good to know most if not all the graduates get a shot at an interview. I don’t believe you pay for the classes either, at least not from anything I’ve seen so that’s a plus. Guess we will just have to see what they say. Thanks again guys.

I haven’t received a ‘in person interview’ yet, but my status says “Hiring Team Interview”. Anyone know what that means?

Should I count myself out yet if I’m still “under review” and heard nothing yet. Or should I expect a rejection email soon enough? Or are they doing this by class?
Don’t count yourself out! The process can take a long time and doesn’t necessarily make sense. Not sure if they’re going class by class this time or hiring for all classes at once.

Any idea if this means that they are reducing next year classes to 1 then? Since theyre doing 3 classes this year? Or they still planning on doing 2 classes
Your guess is as good as mine. What I’ve seen is there’s what’s mentioned, what’s planned, and then what actually happens. There’s too many variables to adequately gauge that far out and airlines change accordingly depending on operational and financial circumstances.
