OK...
I've finally had enough of the big billowing uniform shirt with the ten-times-too-large-flying-nun arm holes as well.
I'm taking them into the Men's Warehouse next week and getting them tailored.
My question is this... may sound strange to some of you but if you were in the Military then you'll know what I'm talking about.
Has anyone used Shirt/Sock Garters while flying the line? Specifically I need to know if they set off the metal detectors at security.
For those of you that don't know... these are elastic straps that connect your shirt tails to the top of your socks. They keep your shirt tucked in and your socks up.
This appearance is very "squared away", and I'm thinking about using them at work... but don't want the bells and whistles going off and the pat down after the wanding with questioning looks when I hike up my pants leg to show them the garters...
Laugh if you must...
