Maybe, but there’s that double layer when you don’t speak the language at all versus “they phrase things weird over here.” I had no idea I needed to quickly learn another word for “jacket.”

I knew a guy in college that would constantly touch himself through his pants. That is some weird ass nervous energy.

I don’t know, I interviewed at there and found the interviewer unlikable as hell. Nobody even smiled let alone made you feel welcome.

Not saying it’s wrong or right but I think they lack emotion both for better or worse, intentionally during the interview.

I as well as my circle of friends who interviewed there all more or less experienced the same. All of us left nervous because of it and unpacked every single question in our heads and why we wouldn’t get the job.

Turns out we all were just thinking too hard about it.
