Has there ever been a midair between two TCAS equipped aircraft?
I thought it was close that only countedAlmost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.
Our 757-300s only hold around 230 paxNo 757 I know can hold 289 people. That's around 100 more than most... Hell that's around what the old United DC-10's held..
Ah yes the dreaded 600 fpm descent.THE PLANE PLUNGED 600 FEET IN 60 SECONDS!
That's the hilarious line the news keeps using here in PHX.
Ah yes the dreaded 600 fpm descent.
Breaking news, Airbus Jumbo Jet rockets upward over middle of North Atlantic! Click for selfies taken by panicked passengers! Aviation expert (13 year old kid who plays a lot of flight sim in moms basement) says climb rate "out of control"!Usually when we're out on the tracks and request a higher altitude, I'll just roll in 500 fpm so there's no hugely discernible change in engine noise or deck angle.
How 600 in 60 seconds is a plunge reeks of media sensationalism.
