Twin Training in my own plane?

Hmmm.....you guys are making me think. I may have to see what I can do to talk our club board into looking into a twin.

Not a twin

but I too purchased an airplane for my training. I bought a cheap 150. Got it real cheap. It is ugly if you are closer that 30 feet but it flies well. I had to put a new radio in once I got it(not finished with that yet, and getting it home was an adventure in itself that Grabo could talk about for a while. I totally blew off allthe rules for buying an airplane but I did so because the price was very good. I am hoping to find a couple of people who are also working on their ratings here in Charleston to partner on it with me. That makes for extremely cheap flying. It burns autofuel so gas is not the crazy $4.85 at the FBO.

It isn't a twin but it is the same concept. Buy the airplane, fly it and then sell it. If you get an older airplane like a 150 or sounds like the apache too, they don't really go down in value. I fully expect to get back out what I have put into this airplane at selling time.
