Trump sues for $100M over flights above ritzy Florida club

If I had to guess it was that departure route posted above. Of course I have no idea how to look up when it went into effect, so I can't confirm, but having a departure right over your house with fixes named after you and your catch phrases sure present an image of maliciousness, even if it wasn't.

Similar thing has been happening here in Phoenix. We didn't have any RNAV departures until recently and the FAA kinda came in and just dropped em. People in downtown neighborhoods have been complaining ad-naseam about the low flying "Grand Avenue" departures.

It wasn't malicious, it was just more efficient DP's, for next-gen.
 
Did the FAA seriously name this departure procedure after him? Was it out of spite? or are they just playing up the fact that his jet flys out of PBI a lot?
