Trans States to GoJets

So Im really not trying to open a can here, although I know it probably will, but, how much of a scab or a bad person would someone be if say, they started at TSA and lets say a year down the road, TSA is gone and pilots have the chance to go to Gojets, should said person just quit and find something else or stick it out with gojets and just get the hours necessary? Just a thought (and a little hidden advice for me) thanks! :)

This is a weird subject. Is GoJet(no "s") scum? Yes. However you have to do what you have to do to pay your bills, feed you and your family. The fact that some people would call you a scab for doing what any man would do is an absolute joke. That's why it's so easy for these major captains to deny jumpseats, they've got their job making 150K year, all their bills are paid!

It all depends on circumstance. Would I apply to GoJet? Hell no.

Personally, if I were at Trans States and they were going to dissolve the company, I'd probably go to another airline entirely because all that drama is going to follow the pilot group over to Gojets.

Everyone's hiring.

Yeah, don't go to Gojet, especially if other airlines are hiring. You don't want to wear the SCARLET LETTER for the rest of your career.

Airline pilots have extremely long memories, especially for those lowlifes who stab their brothers in the back. We have an Eastern scab on our property. No one speaks to him and he can't get a jumpseat ride on our jets. There are NWA scabs who can't put their luggage down to this day because it always tends to end up in Narita.

Reminds me of a funny story. We had a former Eastern pilot in DFW.

It went like this, "Hey, where'd you fly before Delta?"

"Oh, ok, let me complete the sentence, I flew for Eastern BUT I WASN'T A *@*#*$ SCAB!"

So I'm guessing the general thought is if going to TSA ride it out while it's still TSA and ditch if fipped over to Gojet I take it. Any JC'ers at TSA now? What is the Scarlet letter BTW?

You never read "The Scarlet Letter" in school? Its a classic in literature.
Oh, oh, oh, I wasn't even thinking in that zip code. I thought it meant something aviation specific. :p
So do you know something about TSA disappearing anytime soon?
Its all talk, just rumors I hear from friends working there so I don't want to fuel any fires.

That was one hard read...

Better than A Tale of Two Cities though. That one nearly made my eyes bleed.

:yeahthat:sidenote: We lucked out and got to watch the movie for Tale of Two Cities and even then it was hard to get interested. The book must have been torture.

What rumors are you hearing? I have a Sept training date that i'm debating on taking... dunno if I wanna go if the airline is going to dissolve...

Again bro, take it for what it's worth, just a rumor I (I who doesn't work at TSA) heard that possibly in a year or so, they could dissipate TSA and go wholly under Gojet. Again, I believe people on here work for them and they may be a better help or know more, I just heard it thru the grapevine. :D

Everyone's hiring.

Depending on if everyone is hiring (which they are now) I wouldn't hesitate to go somewhere else.

If it were stagnant and dry...Wouldn't you almost have to go to GoJet?

I'm not saying I would go or that I would even apply...I'm just saying, look at it from THIS standpoint.

All circumstantial.
