I've never had a speeding ticket.
It's worth every .01 in my opinion.
Thanks.
They're gauging honesty rather than driving ability.
Well, let's talk macro and micro.
On a macro sense, if you've got five tickets in three years, that's a huge red flag about decision making ability and responsibility.
On a micro sense, if you've got a ticket that you went to traffic school for that you presumed wasn't on your record and you answered "no" to a question that asked "Have you had any moving violations in the last five years" and you answer no, knowing darned well you did but assumed that you wouldn't be caught because of traffic school, it's a flag for #1 Honesty and #2 attention to detail.
Got a few DWBs, I see.
What of you can't remember and kept no records of dates?
I got a speeding ticket in HS, one or two in college. Rolled through a stop sign while flying freight... Who knows when those things happened?
National Driver Register - more info than you needed. NDR has records about suspensions and revocations by the various states.how long do they keep those records?
