Time for the next chapter

X-Forces

Big Black Guy
Well, after two years of instructing Chinese students in the Arizona desert, I am off to Dallas/Fort Worth in 2 weeks for ground school! :D

The next chapter in my aviation career begins shortly, and I am pretty excited.

My list of people to thank is longer then my flights to KVCV in the PA44 (Which, thankfully I am done with :)), but of course on the top of the list is my man Doug T.

Had it not been for this site, the information I have gained and the contacts I have made through it, I probably wouldn't even be heading in this direction at all, and that goes all the way back to picking a school in which to train and teach after I returned from Europe. Not to mention some documentation assistance and general good counsel, I can't thank you enough man!

Mr. Jhugz, not to be forgotten! I said before and I'll say again, without your help I would not have the job, period! Thanks for everything man.

My buddy Blizzue, and the endless hour plus long conversations and the resume walk in, thanks man. Actually I'm not going to thank you too much yet, as I am not done bugging you yet! :D

Seggy and Amoris, thanks for the Colgan support guys, you guys the Anyone I missed, thank you too. This site is the best, and I am looking forward to being able to continuing helping people out in a different capacity.

Well deserved bud.

There are few people I look up to as Role Models and you sir are one of them, plus you're old enough to be my dad. :)

Congrat's on the gig!

Seriously...

Can't make one of these posts and not even tell us what you'll be flying. :) Good luck and congrats!

Soooooooo, who are you flying for and what will you be flying? Times?

Couldn't have happened to a classier fellow. You have always stood above most and I hope you continue to do so.

Thank you Thank you everyone, really, I love all you guys.

Thanks.........you bastard!

Actually, your mom and I have been wanting to tell you something for some time now..... :D (Take that!)

Congratulations! Now hit the books! :)

I will as soon as I get some. :)

Well, when the offer came through they told me the airframes/bases available were CRJ7 out of LGA and EMB145 out of ORD. I REALLY don't want ORD, so I guess that pretty much narrows it down. ;)

Thank you sir. You doing Vegas this year?

I'll be flying for the Beagle, and it looks like the CRJ out of N.Y.C.

As for the times, well I had just a smidge under 2000 fixed wing time when I applied, ATP, CFI, II, MEI, and two internals (One of which I have called out already)

Congrats! If you need an apartment in the DFW area... ;)

I hope not to be there that long, but if (and 121 is always a big IF) it comes to it I might take you up on it! ;)

Good stuff! I have a decent amount of time on the EMB145. It's a good bird. Very automated systems logic combined with a Fischer Price autopilot. :laff:

Best of luck!

As in, guess I'll be flying the CRJ (or are you trying to give me a hint as to aircraft selection?);)
